A quick snapshot of everything we created for two nonprofits working to reform the criminal justice system in Nashville.
Every year, at the end of October, we fuel up for CreateAthon— our annual event where we pause client work and stay up for 24+ hours straight, making marketing magic for nonprofits based in Middle Tennessee.
On the surface, CreateAthon looked a little different this year as we added safety measures, remote capabilities, and sleep for participants’ well-being. But there were also some deeper changes as we selected two nonprofit partners that are fighting racial injustice in our community.
This year we were honored to work with the Nashville Community Bail Fund and Aphesis House, two organizations working to reform the criminal justice system in Nashville. Here’s the inside scoop on the work we created for these incredible organizations.
Their Mission:
The Nashville Community Bail Fund helps free low income persons from jail, connects them with their loved ones, and works to end wealth-based detention through community partnerships. Their efforts have helped free over 1,000 individuals from jail, allowing their clients to continue their lives pending trial.

Their Mission:
Aphesis House provides safe, and sober transitional housing for recently incarcerated men including those experiencing addiction or homelessness. By educating their residents on financial literacy, the job market, family reintegration, and more, their residents are able to leave Aphesis House with a fresh start and renewed opportunities.
